„The Impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) on Copyright, Media & Creative Sectors”

The conference focuses on the impact of artificial intelligence on the media and creative sectors, as well as copyright law. It is one of a series of events organized by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage as part of Poland's presidency of the EU Council in the first half of 2025.

Topic for discussion during the event will include:

• the use of AI tools in copyright protection
• the impact of AI on the audiovisual sector
• the use of AI tools to improve collective management of copyright and related rights
• AI in newsrooms – how it is transforming modern media, and its influence on journalists and the information community
• AI in the fight against disinformation
• the role of media education and the development of citizens' digital competencies.
