How to get here from Łódź Kaliska Station?

Firstly, a brief introduction for our guests travelling by train. While browsing the booking systems of the railway carriers (and, for instance, commercial smartphone apps), finding a connection with "Łódź" itself is not sufficient. Many trains reach and stop only at Łódź Kaliska or the Łódź Widzew station. If you type only one of them into the browser, you will get a very limited number of available connections. One can be a little concerned about the need to change trains, which is quite unnecessary. Our advice is to browse at least two railway station destinations at a time: Łódź Kaliska and Łódź Widzew.

On each tram (in the first carriage) and bus of the MPK Łódź Sp. z o.o. (City Transport Company) there is a ticket machine which accepts payments by credit/debit cards only. The machines do not accept cash. Tourists who are staying in Łódź for longer should use 24-hour tickets instead, because their cost is under four normal ticket fares. Agglomeration tickets are only needed if you are planning to go outside the administrative borders of Łódź. The comprehensive offer of public transport tickets, including group tickets, is available on MPK's website.

Łódź Kaliska Bus & Railway Station – access is quite easy: you need to go to the eastern side of Włókniarzy Alley (under the overpass) and take bus no. 80 at the "Włókniarzy – Łódź Kaliska estakada" stop. Please, watch the direction; WYDAWNICZA should be visible on the bus display. Get off at the 9th bus stop ("Nawrot – Targowa") and after a few minutes' walk along Targowa St., heading north, you will reach the EC1 complex. The return to the railway station is even easier because the same bus (no. 80) stops nearer, on Tuwima St. (the "Tuwima – Targowa" bus stop). If you did not buy a 24-hour ticket, you should validate your 40-minutes fare ticket.
